Important 2020-2021 Events
The following events are examples of the rich and varied experiences offered annually to our students and, in some cases, parents during the Newark Academy school year.
Due to the ongoing protocols related to preventing the spread of coronavirus, these events have not currently been scheduled for the 2020-2021 academic year. Newark Academy will strive to conduct as many of these events and activities as possible this year. It is likely that some portion of these events will be delivered virtually.
Event updates and information will be shared regularly via email (to the email address you have provided on MyNA) and through the school’s website at www.newarka.edu

UPPER AND MIDDLE SCHOOL ORIENTATION
All new Middle School and 9th grade students
are invited to attend an orientation by grade level.

CONVOCATION
Convocation is the formal opening ceremony of the academic year with presentations by administrators, a member of the Board of Trustees, School Council President, President of the Alumni Association Board of Governors and a distinguished alumnus or alumna. Students are required to dress formally.
Acceptable dress includes shirts and ties
(jackets optional), dresses, skirts, dress pants, blouses.
